Epic Games officially released the update for Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 2, and players have a lot to look forward to in this new Season. Several new characters were teased in the Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 2 Resistance Story Trailer, and fans got to see the Origin for the first time in the game.

The Origin, as described in the battle pass, is a member of the Seven. The Origin's body is surrounded by purple Cube energy, similar to the Cube Queen from Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 8. Players can listen to the Origin's Anthem soundtrack as it reveals a lot about his background story, and how he ended up joining the Seven.

The Origin is mentioned to be the King of the Cubes, who walked away from the fight when he realized that the Cubes would destroy the Island. He was later captured by the Imagined Order, but he tricked them by swearing allegiance as one of the Order. The ploy worked and the Origin was able to escape from the IO's clutches.

The Seven found the Origin and extended a helping hand. This is how The Origin joined the Seven. Now, his goal is to protect the Seven, while taking down the Imagined Order to stop them from destroying reality.
